Took me a while to see where i am, within 1H to complete the sketch. As i reflected on the pic and my cuurent piece, i actually knew in somepart i was too lazy to see, and applied my wrong imagination on lines, and perspective. In a way, i still havent trained to observe attentively in whole.
But quite impressed by myself for started on pen liner straightaway, instead of from pencil. Points and lines of no ways for regrets.
Certainly there is room for improvement. The angles of the buildings, the height of left and right. The cloud. Etc.
It was a long Monday night. Flipped through the urban sketching book. But i was tired to proceed. So yes, i put the file back. Locked the gallery. And headed to Cathay Food Avenue foodcourt for chicken rice. Tasty and worth it. Ginger paste and chilli blended well with steamed chicken 白斩鸡 and added on an egg gor. Pondered about the relationship of egg and chicken. Ooh, chicken comes from egg, eggs come from chicken. And writing this in the bus trip home. Usual bus 857.
Good try! Looking forward to more chicken rice & sketching too! Haha!
